ABOUT
PIN-CHUN LIN

“I believe that students learn to play musical instruments in their own way, at their own pace. To help them succeed in piano lessons and instrumental performance, I approach different learning styles with imaginative teaching solutions that respect the individuality of each student, young and old alike. In this way, I hope to instill the gift of music in my students—for life. “

Pin-Chun Lin, a Taiwanese pianist, completed her Master’s degree in Fine Arts, specializing in Piano Performance, at National Sun Yat-Sen University (NSYSU) in Taiwan.

Since Pin-Chun began learning the piano, she has been awarded top prizes in many piano competitions, including the Steinbach International Music Competition, Seidof & Sons Piano Competition, as well as 1st prizes in the Taiwan Music Competition. During her studies, Pin-Chun received the Special Piano Academic Excellence Performance Award several times from NSYSU and was selected to participate in master classes under the guidance of Valentina Lisitsa, Michael Tsalka, Rolf-Peter Wille, Ning An, and Steven Glaser. In 2018, she took part in a Palazzo Ricci Master Class in Italy, studying with Henri Sigfridsson (1st prize winner of the Beethoven International Piano Competition) and was recommended to perform in Salone di Palazzo Ricci.

As a soloist, Pin-Chun held an “ALL CHOPIN” piano recital in 2016, a “Pin-Chun Lin Piano Recital” in 2017, and a “SONATAS” piano recital at the Kaohsiung City Music Hall in 2019. She also has experience in chamber music and participated in the “A Night at La Belle Époque” concert, performing with soprano Isabel Canada Luna and cellist Enkhmaa Tuvshin at Dubai Alliance Française, as well as the “2018 Colorful Sound from Keyboards Music Concert” at Sizihwan Art Center, and the “Chamber Music Concert Night” in 2019.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, Pin-Chun is now a passionate classical music educator in Abu Dhabi. She strives to inspire others to play the piano, advocate for the beauty of piano music, and cultivate a love for classical music.

Pin-Chun assists students in successfully completing graded exams, and to date, she has maintained a 100% pass rate for the ABRSM exams. Additionally, she prepares students for concerts and competitions, guiding them to perform at their best.
